His session, “Building and Operating a Live Daily Broadcast,” was attended by students and advisors from across the country. In a 45-minute presentation, he shared the skills and strategies that make Gahanna’s live daily broadcast—an impressive 44-minute show—possible.

Lowrie provided insights on the logistics of producing live news and offered tips for growing broadcast programs with engaging, high-quality content. His presentation covered essential tools for organization, story planning, and social media engagement to help other schools elevate their programs. Attendees received a QR code linking to a variety of helpful resources, allowing them to explore additional tips and tricks.
