New Principal at Goshen Lane Elementary

Goshen Lane Elementary began the 2025-26 school year with new leadership as Sharon Suriano officially stepped into the role of principal. Her appointment was approved by the Gahanna-Jefferson Board of Education earlier this summer.

Mrs. Suriano is no stranger to the Goshen Lane community. A former student at the school herself, she later graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School before beginning her career in GJPS. Over the past 20 years, she has served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach and most recently as a leader in the district’s curriculum department with a focus on mathematics.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Miami University, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University and earned her administrative licensure in 2013.

Mrs. Suriano is excited to return to Goshen Lane in this new capacity and is eager to build strong connections with students, staff and families.

Her leadership follows the departure of former principal Mr. Graves, who accepted a new role outside the District. GJPS is grateful for his years of service and the positive impact he made on the Goshen Lane community.
